Chris Addison developed and ran the Pacific regional business plan for CTA for two years. He ran digital projects in Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Lesotho, Eswatini, Trinidad, Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu as Senior Coordinator of Data for Agriculture. He was managing editor responsible for the production of ICTupdate from 2012 to 2020 and established and ran the Blockchain for Agriculture project. >>>

| Chris Addison rationalised the IFPRI web presence consolidating 80 websites on the IFPRI.INFO platform in order to separate project and community dialogue from the peer reviewed content on IFPRI.ORG. Working with Luz Marina Alvare he developed approaches to promote content through a variety of social media channels and intermediaries, an experience recorded in the publication " Learning to swim:How IFPRI uses multiple web channels to communicate research outputs". He also developed the Global Hunger Index as the first CGIAR linked open data product. He was involved in teaching on capacity building programs visiting Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania.
